The May kit - 35mm - from Studio Calico arrived on Friday. It was perfect timing since we were out of school. It gave me the weekend to scrap with it. Yay!

The color scheme this month was so "me" and so fun to work with.

Last month I went on Kevin's Art Club field trip to the Speed Art Museum in Louisville...

Just a simple page to document my growing boy...
Kevin's old "new" glasses from summer '10...
Fun pics of Kev on our Art Club trip. LOVED how well the papers worked with these pics!
I used stamps and mist and hexagons to document a normal Sunday morning. Pancakes and comics before church...
I was in shock to have it confirmed that B was taller than me at his last well child exam. Sure, I could tell he was taller, but hearing it was something else. Since then, he's actually grown another 1/2". In a month!
And, a simple page of Kevin's last music performance at school.
I still have a box full of goodies from this kit. Stay tuned for more projects!

My Old Kentucky Home pit stop after our dental appointments last summer...

National Scrapbook Day with Scrappin' {Sports} Stuff...

I "celebrated" National Scrapbook Day by scrapping with the new Simple Stories "Awesome" line from Scrappin' {Sports} Stuff. This line is so versatile!
Loved using the line for Scouting pics of both boys...
Scrapped pics from Tiger Cub days (above).
Scrapped B's Rifle Shooting "contest" (below). Remember he won the .22 in December!
I have Kevin's Crossover from last year scrapped. (This year's Crossover is Friday!)

Also documented Kevin's stint as "Denner" from last fall.

The colors in the line were perfect for so many things. They worked well with pics of a visit with a friend from a couple years back. Laurie is one of Tom's customers. Last week we were able to have a great visit with her while she was in visiting from Boston.
Finally, I pulled out pics from 2009. My boys hands have grown a lot since these pics were taken.
Hope all of my scrapbooking friends were able to work in some scrap time over the past weekend. I am looking forward to school getting out for the year (one more week!) so I will have more time to scrap.

Happy Scrappin'!
