After dinner, the boys and Tom settled down to play some PS2 and watch the World Series in the bonus room. I just happen to scrap in the bonus room, so I decided to scrap while they were up here with me.
I had new photos of Blake sporting what he purchased himself with a gift card he received for his birthday. The navy American Eagle gift card holder even matched these papers, so I used it on the layout to back my title. My title letters weren't included in the kit. They are kraft Jillibean Soup corrugated alphas that I lightly brushed with orange paint.
Next, I pulled out the more feminine Crate Paper "Restoration" papers from the kit to scrap photos from my sister's birthday in September.
I used the Making Memories frame, backed with some paper, for my title placement. Again, I went with Jillibean alphas covered in (pink) paint.
Layering some stickers makes a great finishing touch.
For my next layout, I used a fall sketch by Lisa Hidy. I had these photos of the boys enjoying a day trip over to Bardstown. We had lunch at the historic Talbott Tavern and then shakes at the counter at Hurst Drugs.
I added some orange Fancy Pants' alphas to my mixed title.
Blake is doing great in Boy Scouts and impressed me when he built a fire in our backyard with flint, steel, lint and wood. Of course, you have to scrap something like that!
I am loving corrugated shapes and letters by Jillibean Soup!
The "camp outs...in our backyard" card from October Afternoon was perfect for this layout.
On the same night, we made S'mores. But, Blake doesn't like them. More for us!
This layout was a pretty simple one. I added some paint using a Jenni Bowlin paint dauber. I like how it reminded me of marshmallow creme. Oh, and my title...that's the sound we make when we eat something good. :)I still have a bag full of goodies from Noel Mignon and a big stack of photos. I'm looking forward to more scrap time this weekend.

Stunning work Amy...I love that Noel Mignon kit...but I have told myself that I have to reduce my stash before I am allowed to buy another kit:(
I love the corrugated alpha you used.
Wow--you have been busy! I love all of these so much. The JB alphas are a great touch to the pages. They add so much umph!
And I'm so impressed you got out your paints :)
